Sykes is worthless! he's very unqualified for what he claims he can do. I was't happy with the results and had to go see another doctor who was worse than sykes. On the top of that he's a very mean Thing and very Prejudice, so if you're someone with an accent stay away from this jerk!

Utterly disappointed in Dr Sykes ability and skill to properly administer Botox and filler. I’ve never had filler prior to seeing Sykes. My wedding was in October 21 and I thought why not treat myself. Several months prior to my wedding I got my smile lines and Botox. Immediately following while still in the office and he hands me a mirror. For someone who’s never had filler I immediately saw plumpness in my smile line but I saw it as immediately swelling from the injections. Dr Sykes acknowledges that it is swollen but will look great in a few weeks. 4 weeks I make another appointment to put filler in my lips. Which I have never done. The Botox in which I had done was done poorly but he blamed me because “you can’t have both”. I wanted a smooth forehead and a mini brow lift. Well potentially you should have explained that to me as the DOCTOR. That what I’m wanting isn’t possible that’s the first thing I would tell a patient. save me $600 to put where it was needed Tell me that my biggest trouble area would be exasperated!. So he created extra lines above my brow in my forehead. First visit was 40 units! I’ve never had more than 20 in a visit. So here I am to correct that and fill my lips. I explain the issue out my forehead and his solution is another 20 units to correct it. 60 units in a matter of several weeks. Whelp you can imagine how scary that was for a few weeks. The filler around my smile lines has done nothing! It looks exactly the same way it did before. When I expressed my disappointment I was told that filler wasn’t going to make those lines go away for various different reasons. First $600 for a full syringe down the drain.So you advise against it after I’ve done the procedure. . . Get my lips done. Hands me the mirror and same thing lips are crazy swollen couldn’t tell what they would look like as far as shape goes but I smile go home and wait. A few weeks later I go back because I’m not happy. I tell the nurse who helped me my concers. My lips are lopsided and he has given my lip a beak like bubble under my Cupid’s bow. She acknowledges seeing my concers. I did want to go bigger so I also tell him my concers and he does his thing. Fast forward a few weeks I am now passed the window to get more filler as far as my wedding is concerned but my lips look awful. I look like I went to a Groupon special! No I paid $1200 for this mess! I really thought seeing Dr Sykes would be perfect. He has done 2 friends nose jobs and a client. They look amazing. I though who better to see than a doctor who practices symmetry by creating beautiful contoured noses. Any one is better and I mean anyone. It has been almost 6m. I really wanted to fix my lips I can’t stand to look at them anymore. I have gone to 2 different consults both doctors told me I either have to dissolve what I have or wait for it to dissolve more. That they won’t work on the filler that was put in a few months ago because it’s so poorly done. Worst part is I want to go bigger. They can’t even by making my lips bigger save the shape that they currently are because they are so messed up. Disappointed to say the least and you teach others to do injections. To think your teaching others to botch clients fillers is concerning.

As a medical consultant for many years, I have had the unique opportunity to observe Facial Plastic Surgeons all over Northern California interact with patients and observe their final outcomes. Well, nobody has "asked me" yet if I have had plastic surgery! People that do know that I have undergone a facelift cannot believe how "natural" my face looks, yet "younger" than most women my age. Doctor Sykes and his team are exceptional. In the past I have worked with plastic surgeons and their staff professionally; and am knowledgeable in the field. My husband and I chose Dr. Sykes, even though we do not actually live in California, due to his credentials. Both of us are extremely pleased with the results. We recommend having your surgery along with your significant other at the same time - we had such a tremendous experience and you will not be disappointed!
