Understanding Breast Augmentation Procedures

Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure designed to enhance the size and shape of a woman's breasts. Patients may seek this procedure for various reasons, including increasing breast volume, correcting asymmetry, restoring breast shape after pregnancy, or as a reconstructive technique following breast surgery.

Surgical Technique Overview

The procedure is performed under general anesthesia, ensuring patient comfort throughout the operation. Surgical approaches may vary depending on individual anatomy and surgical recommendations.

Incision and Implant Placement Options

  • Incision locations: Under the breast crease, around the areola, or in the armpit
  • Implant placement: Directly behind breast tissue or underneath chest wall muscle
  • Goal: Minimizing visible scarring and achieving natural-looking results

Implant Placement Considerations

Surgeons may recommend placement behind the chest muscle to potentially reduce capsular contracture risks and improve mammogram examination capabilities. This placement might result in slightly more post-operative discomfort compared to direct breast tissue placement.

Consultation Process in Albuquerque

During the consultation, Dr. Loutfy performs a detailed examination, takes individual body measurements, and provides patients an opportunity to visualize potential outcomes using implant sizing techniques.

This office works together with Dr. Ryan Kunkel. I first called Dr. Ryan Kunkel's office. I did not get past "hello" before the woman answering the phone began verbally abusing me. She was extremely rude and abusive. She began to target me due to my phone number not beginning with 505 and the fact I said I had surgery out-of-state. Their welcoming and customer service is horrifying. BECAUSE I was not aware of the professional relationship between Dr. Loutfy and Dr. Kunkel, I unknowingly called Dr. Loutfy's office. Whereupon the phone being answered, the same woman responded and became even more abusive. To make matters worse, this woman then began texting horrifyingly abusive texts back to my phone. Please be careful attempting to work with these two offices and doctors.

I was in for a facial that lasted 20 minutes and charged a few hundred dollars. I had scheduled scheduled a facial and consultation for surgery and they raised the price on me a week later almost three thousand more and said it was out of their control. I waited a few months to save a few more thousand and called in to schedule a surgery agin after raising price on me and Caitlin said she doesn’t feel like she should schedule me I asked to speak with Dr Loutfy and she said no I cannot and refused to ask him to call me. I have never been treated so poorly at a Drs office very unprofessional staff very unorganized they should have never quoted me a price and raise it 1 week later I don’t understand how a Dr approves of this going on in his office. Must be all about money and not customer service I definitely do not recommend any services at this office. They have not tried to make anything better and i will be letting friends and family know about this poorly ran office it very unfortunate that people treat people this way these days.

The surgery on my neck and browlift left my eye half closed. Dr. Loufty said it was because my "skin is old" but he would try to redo it for a small fee and leave a big scar on forehead. I said no thanks and found a surgeon who knew what he was doing... he corrected the with no scar and I can finally see again. Meanwhile my neck doesn't look any better than it did five years ago and 7 months later my right side looks old and droopy and thiner than left side. I will have to pay again just to get face evened out. If you have "old skin" Dr. Lofty is not your doctor. I am so sorry I didn't do better research.
