Dr. Cockerham earned her medical degree from George Washington University and completed fellowships in neuro-ophthalmology and oculofacial plastics at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Allegheny General Hospital. She is a decorated veteran and former Chief of Oculoplastics and Orbital Disease at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Cockerham is also an adjunct clinical associate professor at the Byers Eye Institute at Stanford University and has received numerous awards for her clinical excellence and contributions to the field of ophthalmology.
