PREPARING FOR TUMMY TUCK SURGERY

Abdominoplasty is a major surgical procedure. Patients should arrange
for ample help at home for the first 1-2 weeks post-surgery to focus
on recovery. Smoking and all forms of nicotine should be stopped at
least 4 weeks prior to surgery, including e-cigarettes, patches, and
gum. Medications and supplements that increase bleeding risk should be
discontinued 2 weeks before surgery, as advised by the surgeon.

ABDOMINOPLASTY TECHNIQUE

The surgeon marks areas for skin removal and concurrent liposuction

then gradually increased. Most patients return to normal activities
and exercises after 6 weeks.
