BEFORE BREAST AUGMENTATION OPERATION

Before the operation, it would be appropriate to inform your
responsible physician about your general health condition. In any
case, your doctor will ask for the necessary examinations for the
preparation of the operation. The use of painkillers (especially
aspirin) should be discontinued at least 8 days before the operation.
Again, herbal teas, natural food supplements, etc. should be
discontinued, as they may increase the risk of blood thinning and
bleeding. Smoking should be stopped 2 weeks before, if possible, as it
will impair the quality of wound healing. Since the bleeding tendency
will increase in the body in general during the menstruation period,
it would be appropriate to provide information on this subject even if
your doctor does not ask. Although breast prosthesis does not cause
cancer, it can make it difficult to detect a mass that may occur
later. For this reason, the condition of the breast should be recorded
with a radiological examination such as breast ultrasound or

AFTER BREAST AUGMENTATION OPERATION

Your breasts will be covered with gauze after the operation. You may
have drainage tubes that will be removed in a few days. You may need
to wear a surgical bra during this period. It is recommended that you
rest for a few days after your breast augmentation surgery. For
example, you should not try to lift any heavy objects for up to six
weeks after receiving your implants, and you should avoid movements
that may cause you to exert too much effort. Your doctor may prescribe
pain medication for your pain during this period. Be sure not to use
any other medication other than your prescription, and to stay away
from drugs with blood thinners in particular. There will be some
swelling in the area where the surgery was performed. Over time, the
swelling decreases and the scars disappear.
